ACR Login Setup

Revision History

Introduction

As part of the ACR’s ongoing commitment to enhancing our systems and protecting customer data, the ACR’s ACRedit Plus system utilizes a single sign-on (SSO) technology.

This login enhancement, called ACR Login, employs technology from SSO market leader Okta, enabling users to enter their login credentials one time on a single page to access all ACR Login applications.

Certain ACR Login applications, including ACRedit Plus, now require Multifactor Authentication (MFA). For enhanced data security, MFA requires that users enter an additional piece of information when logging in, making it harder for user accounts to become compromised.

Existing Accreditation Login Users

Upon migration to the updated ACRedit Plus system, existing accreditation login users will receive instructions on how to access their ACR Login account and configure their Multifactor Authentication (MFA) method(s).

New Accreditation Login Users

New accreditation login users must set up an ACR Login SSO account and enroll in one or more MFA methods (also known as MFA factors) following the steps below:

  1. Set up your ACR Login Account:

    • Go to  https://acreditplus.acr.org  and click the 'Create an account' button.

    • Complete the 'Create an Account' information and click the 'Register' button.

    • Look for a verification notice that an email has been sent to you.

  2. Activate your ACR Login Account:

    • Check your email inbox for an email from no-reply@sso.acr.org

    • Click the one-time-use “Activate your ACR Login” button.

Note: You have 30 days upon receipt of the Account Activation email to activate your account.

  3. Upon activating your account, access the ACR Login dashboard at https://sso.acr.org and click on the ACRedit Plus icon:

  4. Enroll in Multifactor Authentication (MFA): The first time a user accesses ACRedit Plus using their new ACR Login account, they are prompted to enroll in Multifactor Authentication (MFA). Please see our article on MFA Enrollment Instructions for setup instructions.

  5. Access ACRedit Plus: With ACR Login, users can access ACRedit Plus and their other ACR applications by following these steps to launch the application from the ACR Login dashboard (see above):
